Willow Tree Market
One of our favourite things to do on the way to Kingsville (or any time we need something delicious) is to stop at the Willow Tree Market for all things Ontario, fresh and homemade. Constructed from an old garage, the market has become a well-known landmark at the corner of Division and Concession Road 2; under a willow tree and with a plant-filled, beat-down Chevy on the front lawn. Willow Tree Market is run by long-time local farmers Christina, Mary Raffoul and their families. Serving the community is at the core of everything they do, from building long-lasting relationships with other growers, farmers and suppliers to proudly feeding friends and families across the county.
As the Willow Tree Market heads into their 7th Autumn season, the shelves are being stocked with local apples, butternut squash and brussels sprouts. The sight of it all makes us giddy for chilly Fall nights with cozy fires and hearty soups. They also have a Sweet Shoppe that they keep stocked with all of the homemade faves like baklava, sweetbreads, tarts, chocolates and nuts. The market is open 3 out of 4 seasons and is open 6 days a week from 10-6PM. Next time you’re heading out to the County, take our advice and visit the Willow Tree Market if you haven’t yet!
